I've just finished the first section of my Mexico painting and I'm really happy with how it's going! I was a bit weary of how the colours were going to work together, even though they're the one's I took from the Locomotion book, I have never used this palette before so I was apprehensive of the result. But I'm so glad I've just used these 6 colours instead of using a 'realistic' colour palette because I think it wouldn't come together as nicely.
Some parts are quite detailed, so I need to make sure that throughout the painting that they are parts with lots of detail just so it works together better.
