I think we all kind of hit a mini wall of not really knowing what to do. After re reading the brief, we thought that this is actually a lot harder than what we initially thought. It doesn't have a lot to do with our current creative skills, because the logo and design doesn't need to be changed. It's a lot about knowing about materials and packaging structure, which we're not that well informed about. So we decided to have a session of doing what we're best at, and create some art work to get our creative juices flowing.
We mainly used brusho to create textures that reminded us of fish and that could be used to go onto the packaging. It was also quite nice for a change to actually make some art work, as we had been on the computers for the start of this project. Although it was fun to do this, for me I'm not sure how much it has helped me for the brief because the main focus is structure and materials. I think for the next meet up this is something we should focus on more.
